The decision to seek therapy can sometimes be a difficult one. As a therapist, I aim first and foremost to cr
eate a safe and supportive environment where you will feel free to explore what is troubling you and where you will feel attentively heard and deeply understood.
Depression, anxiety, relationship problems, isolation, feelings of powerlessness, low self esteem and work-related difficulties are among the issues that therapy can help you work through. Working collaboratively in an atmosphere of active engagement, together we will strive to help you gain a greater sense of influence over feelings, thoughts, or behaviors that may now seem out of your control. We will do so, in part, by exploring how attitudes, expectations and relationship patterns that grew out of early experiences may be continuing to shape your life today in ways you might not realize.
If you would like help discovering and taking on obstacles to your leading a more fulfilling life, feel free to get in touch to set up a consultation. I’m available at 646-831-1352 or at julie.grenet@alumni.princeton.edu .
